Student Payment Options

�鶹��ý Billing

Tuition, housing, meal plans and other �鶹��ý costs are paid through the Controller’s Office, which is located on the first floor of the Lehr Memorial Hall. Your bills can be paid in several ways. A penalty will be added to the �鶹��ý bill if fees are not paid by the posted due date for each term.

Who receives bills from �鶹��ý?

All billing will be done electronically. Bills will be sent to the student's �鶹��ý email account. The student can request to have the bill emailed to a parent (or authorized user), but the student must make this request online through their EBILL site by clicking on the Authorized Users link.

ACH

Students can pay online via ACH without charge. Students may also create a saved payment method in EBILL using a checking or savings account, by clicking the “My Profile” link to the right after logging in, then clicking the “Payment Profile” link. This saved payment method will then be available for use when making future payments.
- If your payment is rejected due to insufficient funds, you may be subject to an insufficient funds transaction fee, so always check your balance before generating payment.
Credit Card

Credit card payments for tuition expenses must be made online through the student’s EBILL account. There is a 2.95% convenience fee for paying by credit card and a 4.25% fee for international transactions. �鶹��ý accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

TransferMate International Payment

International students can use TransferMate through the EBILL site to make an international payment in their own currency. Students are given preferential transfer rates. We have partnered with TransferMate to provide seamless international payments through your online student account. Log into your student account, select Make A Payment, choose TransferMate from the dropdown menu, and follow prompts. You can also follow the instructions in this video:
You can pay your bill with cash or check in the Controller’s Office in Lehr Memorial Hall, Room 100.
- Checks should be made payable to �鶹��ý.
- If you are mailing in a check, please be sure to include the Student’s Name and �鶹��ý ID Number on the memo/for line. This helps ensure the payment is posted to the correct student account.

How to Write a Check:

1) Date of payment

2) Who is being paid

3) Amount you want to pay in numbers

4) Amount you want to pay written out

5) Your signature

6) Note about what and/or who the payment is for
Students and Authorized Users can set up a payment plan online through the Ebill account.
- Each semester balance is split into monthly or bi-monthly payments, depending upon the plan
- Fall semester: 5 month plan (August - December), 4 month plan (September - December)
- Spring semester: 5 month plan (January - May), 4 month plan (February - May)
- Payments are due on the first of each month if using one of the monthly plans, or due the first and fifteenth of each month if using the bi-monthly plan
- $30 fee per semester to enroll
- Must re-enroll in payment plan each semester
International students may choose to pay by wire transfer. To ensure that funds are applied to the correct student account, we ask that you email bursar@onu.edu with the following information: Sender’s Name, Student’s Name, Student’s �鶹��ý ID Number, Dollar Amount, and Date the Transfer will go through. Also, students who choose to pay by wire transfer will want to work with their bank to be sure they are also covering any fees associated with the wire transfer.

Some students use a 529 plan to pay for tuition and fees. You will want to contact your 529 plan provider in advance to make sure the payment arrives at the university by the due date. Some providers offer the option to send payment to the university by ACH through Flywire, other providers send payments by paper check.
