Technology is a central component of the campus learning environment. The Office of Information Technology provides tech support to the Â鶹´«Ã½ community and introduces and maintains the most current technology, standards, procedures and equipment.
Our IT Help Desk is staffed by real humans, and students are encouraged to come to the IT Building to speak with them about their computer issues. Hours for walk-ins are M-F from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The IT Help Desk support line (419-772-1111) is also available M-F from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Centrally located and accessible to everyone on campus, the IT building offers space for collaborative meetings and one-on-one tech support.
The Office of Information Technology does not recommend a specific vendor for computer purchases. Both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh systems are supported. However, the following minimum requirements should be met when purchasing a new computer. The College of Law and the College of Business Administration recommend a laptop.
