Everyone enrolled at Â鶹´«Ã½ is eligible for counseling services. Both individual and couples counseling are available. There is a billed fee for these services.

We adhere to a professional code of ethics and abide by all HIPAA guidelines in providing confidential services. Information, including whether or not you have received counseling, will not be released without your written consent. Exceptions to this arise when parental consent is required to provide services to a minor or if someone’s safety is a concern.

We provide a non-judgmental atmosphere of compassion and concern where problems of any type can be examined and discussed. Some issues commonly dealt with include:- Homesickness

Appointments for counseling can be made by contacting The Center by phone, by email atÌýÂ鶹´«Ã½-Counseling-Center@mercy.comÌýor in person.
Concerned faculty, staff, parents or friends can refer a student to the Counseling Center by phone or email. We are also available for consultation to discuss concerns about a student. However, once a student is referred to us, we cannot discuss the particulars of his/her situation, or even acknowledge the fact that counseling is being provided, without written consent by the student.

The Mercy Health Â鶹´«Ã½-Counseling Center does bill for services. Students are able to choose if they would like these services to be billed to their insurance, or they may choose to self-pay.
There is financial assistance available through Mercy Health on a case by case basis that is needs based assistance. These forms are located in the Center.
